Norman Regional Health System is excited to announce the Norman City Council approved our plans to expand the HealthPlex hospital. * * * Now crews will begin preparing the existing HealthPlex hospital for construction, which involves temporarily moving its emergency and ambulance entrances and creating temporary parking lots. #ChineseNewYear, also known as #LunarNewYear or #SpringFestival, is China's most important festival. It is time for families to be together and a week of an official public holiday. Chinese New Year 2021 falls on Friday, February 12, 2021, beginning a year of the Ox. The Chinese publicly celebrate this holiday February 11–17, 2021. The main Chinese New Year activities include putting up decorations, eating reunion dinner with family on New Year's Eve, firecrackers and fireworks, and giving red envelopes and other gifts. Traditional performance includes dragon dances, lion dances and imperial performances. Red being the main color for the festival is believed to be an auspicious color and is displayed throughout China during the 7-day festivities.
