We want to thank every healer who has contributed to the success of Norman Regional Health System. From the bedside to the business office, every job has an integral part in the health system. We celebrated Hospital Week with a HealthPlex fishing tournament and barbeque lunches! Happy #HospitalWeek! #NormanRegionalHealthSystem #NormanRegional #Healers #Healthsystem
We like to work hard AND play hard at Norman Regional! Our catch-and-release fishing tournament at the HealthPlex gave healers and community members an opportunity to make some new friends and learn a thing or two about wildlife here in Oklahoma. Thanks to the wildlife biologists at the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation who helped with gear, tackle and fish identification!
Norman Regional Nine is getting close to finishing construction! This #TimelapseTuesday really shows how close we are getting to wrapping up the exterior!
Happy #HospitalWeek! We are so thankful for our healers, health system wide. You make such a difference in our community! #NormanRegionalHealthSystem #NormanRegional #Healers #Healthsystem
Proud to be at PRIDE! Stop by and see us! And wave hello to our friends at Norman Regional EMSSTAT who are also here today!
Norman Regional Health System works with @lifeshareok to help save lives through #organdonation. This week, our healers raised a LifeShare Oklahoma flag to both honor those who have donated and raise awareness about the need for organ and #tissuedonation. In 2021, Norman Regional Hospital helped to transfer 15 organs, and the HealthPlex transferred three organs. This year both campuses have helped with 14 organ donations. For 31 people, their lives have been forever changed. This precious gift has allowed them more time, more life and more joy. If you have decided that organ or tissue donation is your wish, please register online at Lifeshareregistry.org.
Check out our new windows at the #normanmusicfestival! Our Same Day Clinic is open 7 am to 7 pm Monday to Saturday! Thanks to Freestyle Creative for the new window art! #NMF
March’s crazy weather is on display in this week’s #TimelapseTuesday, but it will take more than that to hold up progress over at the HealthPlex! What part of the #InspireHealth project are you most excited for?
We want you to join our team of healers! Visit us at our next Hiring Event on Tuesday, April 5 from 4-6 p.m. at the Norman Regional Hospital Education Center for the possibility of on-the-spot interviews with our leaders. Please wear a mask and bring your resume. Clinical and nonclinical team members are needed. #hiring #hiringevent #NormanRegioanl #NormanOK #hiringhealers #joinourteam
Happy #NationalDoctorsDay to all of our amazing, skilled physicians! You make our health system and our community a healthier place. Thank you for all you do! Make #DoctorsDay even better for our doctors by shouting out your favorite doctor in the comments!
🐾Tammy Dabney and Allyson Stapp got a “purfect” visit from Norman Regional volunteer Margaret Pape and her #goldendoodle #pettherapy dog, Buddy. Margaret and Buddy love to visit patients, especially in our Rehab Department. Buddy has never met a stranger and cuddles up to everyone he meets. Buddy is a4-year-old golden doodle and weighs 85 pounds. If you have a certified pet therapy dog and would like to visit patients or healers, please contact the Volunteer Services Office at 405-307-1788 to ensure they met the requirements to volunteer.
🐾It’s always a “paw-some” day when a therapy dog stops by! Catherine Picard is one of our incredible #pettherapy volunteers. Her dog, Dupes, is a certified pet therapy dog and visits our healers on the weekends. Dupes is a 4-year-old #CaneCorso (#ItalianMastiff). He knows commands in Italian, English, and Spanish. At 160 pounds, he still wants to believe he is a lap dog. Catherine’s other job is working as a full-time pharmacist at Norman Regional. We are extremely grateful she and Dupes spend time visiting our healers. If you have a certified pet therapy dog and would like to visit patients or healers, please contact the Volunteer Services Office at 405-307-1788 to ensure they meet the requirements to volunteer.
