We know this year your celebration may look different, but we wish you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving! Please remember to wash your hands, keep your distance and wear a mask. #Thanksgiving2020
The month of November we celebrate #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth. This month is a time to celebrate rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people. This is also an opportune time to educate the general public about tribes, to raise a general awareness about the unique challenges Native people have faced both historically and in the present, and the ways in which tribal citizens have worked to conquer these challenges.
This commemorative month aims to provide a platform for #NativeAmericans in the United States to share their culture, traditions, music, crafts, dance, and ways and concepts of life. This gives Native Americans the opportunity to express to their community and city, county and state officials their concerns and solutions for building bridges of understanding and friendship in their local area. Today Native American populations across the United States are on the rise. Native American leaders are achieving political success in fighting for the rights of their people.

This month is #SIDSAwarenessMonth and putting baby #safetosleep is one way of preventing SIDS. We understand the urge to want to cuddle your baby, but keeping your baby safe is as easy as the ABCs - Always place your baby Alone on their Back in their Crib for sleep. Make sure your baby's crib or bassinet has a firm, flat mattress covered by a fitted sheet and is free of all other bedding or soft items, including pillows, blankets or stuffed animals. Having the crib or bassinet in your room for the first six months to a year is recommended. #ABCsofsafesleep #InfantSafety #SafeSleep #SafeInfantSleep #backisbest
Other things to help prevent #SIDS are #breastfeeding and #skintoskin.
